The vision for Stacey James Institute was formed out of Stacey’s creative talent and her desire for students to have the best quality education possible. At Stacey James Institute we have a learning environment that is state of the art, upbeat, positive, and comfortable. We feel that every student should graduate feeling confident to enter the industry ready to work and not just apprentice. There will always be a professional in attendance making sure you are comfortable every step of the way with your education. In fact we require that our instructors have a minimum of 2 years documented experience working “hands on” in the industry and we also put them through continual training. Many Stacey James instructors have built successful careers and currently still maintain an active clientele. Their goal is to pass their knowledge of the industry on to you, and to give you the tools to succeed in the ever changing beauty world.

When Can I Get Started?Prospective students may enroll anytime. However, their exact start date will be determined by the course start date. Late enrollments will be accepted only one week into the course and must be made up at the next rotation. Hairstyling Program – Every 9 Weeks (January 18, May 2, August 8) Cosmetology, Esthetician and Nails Program – Every 14 Weeks (March 28, July 11, October 17)

Goals / Objectives / Licensing / Placement
- To teach and familiarize students in the current methods and theories of cosmetology, hairstyling, esthetics, and nails.
- To qualify and prepare students for the State Board examination.
- To graduate proficient, qualified, and competent students who can go on to be successful in the field of their choice.

After running multiple salons in Colorado Stacey James Salons and Spa opened the Stacey James Institute, a beauty school Denver students could attend that is approved and regulated by the Department of Higher Education of Colorado, Private Occupational School Board. Our staff is here to educate up and coming cosmetologists, hairstylists, and estheticians in the latest hands-on training and theory. Our school, being located in an operational salon and spa, offers the students the opportunity to learn in a working environment and understand the common problems and solutions salons experience daily. Our instructors have years of experience and have built successful careers. Their goal is to pass their knowledge of their industry on to their students, and to give them the tools to succeed in a constantly changing beauty industry.
