Ready to start your beauty school education? At Stacey James Institute, our goal is to make our admission process informative and helpful for you.Here’s how to get started:

3. Start the application. Complete the application and provide all the necessary documentation to go with it. The application will ask basic personal information and questions about your educational background and work history.
4. Arrange for payment. Once you are accepted, you can work with our admissions team to finalize the payment for your course. We offer various payment plans and financial aid options.
5. Sign the enrollment agreement. When you complete the application process, you must sign an enrollment agreement and pay a registration fee. This will secure your place in the course, and you can start planning for your classes!

Admission Requirements

To enroll in Stacey James Institute, students must:

Be at least 16 years of age.
Have two forms of identification (a social security card, driver’s license, or state-issued ID),
Have proof of meeting our educational requirements, such as a diploma or GED
Complete an application for enrollment form.

Our enrollment requirements are subject to change and may depend on your chosen course. You may submit a request to transfer hours from another beauty school, but acceptance of transfer hours is at the discretion of Stacey James Institute.

Do you help with job placement after graduation?

We offer employment opportunities and assistance to graduates when we can, including job lead referrals and job skill development. While we love helping with your job search, we cannot guarantee future employment.

Can I transfer hours from another school to Stacey James Institute?

Yes, transfer hours are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. A maximum of 300 transfer hours is accepted for courses of 1200 hours or more, and a maximum of 100 hours is accepted for courses of 600 hours or less. Please note that the transferability of hours to another institution is not guaranteed and is up to the school’s discretion.

What career opportunities are available upon graduation?

Depending on the program chosen and after sitting for the State Board examination, graduates can pursue careers as cosmetologists, barbers, estheticians, or nail technicians. Opportunities include working as professional stylists, salon owners/managers, product representatives, platform artists, retail specialists, and more. We do our best to support students in their job search and are happy to share industry opportunities that we learn of, however, we do not guarantee employment after graduation.

Is financial assistance available?
